After a week off, we’re back with a new episode of Reclaiming My Time. In this episode, we talk about our apparent fame in Russia (it’s a joke), the disaster at the FDA related to Johnson and Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine, the Biden administration’s announcement that the U.S military will withdraw from Afghanistan on the 20th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Sen. Tom Cotton’s continued claim that the U.S. has an underincarceration problem, and the death of Prince Philip coming only weeks after Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah.

On this week’s episode of Reclaiming My Time, we rehash a topic from last week’s episode after seeing a Relevant Magazine post entitled “Nine Songs Every 90s Youth Group Kid Still Has Memorized.” We spent way too much time on this particular topic, but as kids who group up in church, it brings back a lot of memories. We also talk about the mixed the CDC director’s mixed messages “impending doom” versus “vaccinated people do not carry the virus.” Make up your mind, already! In the tech policy world, we dive a little into this new lefty tech group, the Chamber of Progress. Since we were already on the topic of tech policy, we poke a little fun at Trump’s new social media ventures, including the terms of service in which it claims no responsibility for user-generated content. Looks like someone is embracing Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

We’re vaccinated! Well, we’re halfway there. (Whoa, oh, livin’ on a prayer!) In this week’s episode of Reclaiming My Time, we talk about our experiences getting vaccinated and touch on the tragic shooting in Atlanta and purity culture. We also ramble about DC libertarians going to work for tech companies, cancel culture, and smaller religious colleges doing well in March Madness.

In the latest episode of Reclaiming My Time, we talk about the COVID-19 vaccine and some of the skepticism we’ve seen on social media, whether or not Andrew Yang is still Nathan’s hero and Yang's popularity among young conservatives, our shared admiration of Mitt Romney, how Substack is making traditional media angry, and dabble around the edges of the immigration debate. We hope to have more outlets available soon to watch Reclaiming My Time. We just started a YouTube channel, and we're working on a Facebook page. One day -- maybe, just maybe -- Nathan will get us a logo and start a Twitter account.

It's Pi Day, which meant we had to get a special guest for this special episode of Reclaiming My Time. We were joined by former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai. The Chairman talked to us about what he has been up to since he stepped down from the role of chairman in January. We discussed the Restoring Internet Freedom Order, which was spearheaded by Chairman Pai in 2017 and 2018, and some of the other initiatives undertaken by the FCC on Chairman Pai's watch. We also discussed other random topics, including our first visits to the Oval Office, Chairman Pai's visits around the country, and why we all despise Daylight Savings Time.
