On this episode we discuss the ego, its many forms, how to recognize it and how to release it. Ego is something that we all have - it's that voice in our minds telling us we need to be more, have more and do more. Ego is also our strong identification with our titles, our roles, our belongings, our behaviours and the groups are part of. Yet we all have a different degree of attachment to the ego, some more than others. It is our responsibility to continually check in with ourselves to make sure we are not giving more importance to these identifications than we need to properly function and work towards what we want. Having grandiose ideas about oneself can often lead to the ego getting in the way. We need to be able to identify and recognize the ego in ourselves before we can release its grip.
