In this episode of Reconciliation Rising, we interview Renee Sans Souci and Dr. Sarah Thomas. Sans Souci, a citizen of the Omaha Nation of Nebraska, is an artist and activist, and Thomas is a non-Native educator and activist.
Together, they work to promote indigenous food sovereignty, a humane immigration policy and awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls. They also talk to us about the importance of de-colonizing spaces in order to facilitate racial healing and understanding.
