Ro: În dimineața aceea, soarele strălucea printre frunzele dese din Grădina Botanică din București.
En: That morning, the sun was shining through the dense leaves in the Grădina Botanică in București.

Ro: Mihai își dorea să se bucure de frumusețea locului, dar mintea îi era tulbure.
En: Mihai wished to enjoy the beauty of the place, but his mind was troubled.

Ro: Elena, soția sa, și Sorin, băiatul lor vesel, mergeau alături de el pe aleile mărginite de flori.
En: Elena, his wife, and Sorin, their cheerful son, walked beside him on the flower-lined paths.

Ro: Elena i-a strâns mâna mai tare și Sorin s-a apropiat de tatăl său cu o îmbrățișare caldă.

Ro: O să fie bine", i-au spus.
