Is my faith in God’s character or His hand?

Pain is not a sign that God isn’t real, it’s the chance for God to show you just how real He is

Pain was PROMISED

John 16:33 NIV // “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

We weren’t promised a PAIN-FREE life, but a grace-filled life!

Faith is REQUIRED

Hebrews 11:6 NIV // And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

If we only believed because life is always good, that’s not faith, that’s sight

2 Corinthians 5:7 // “For we live by faith, not by sight.”

God’s character is that He’s SOVEREIGN and He’s GOOD

Romans 8:28 NIV // “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Do you believe God is FOR you?

Isaiah 55:9 NIV // “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

I don’t always have to UNDERSTAND God, but I always have to TRUST God.
