With the recent passing of Chick Corea, Jake and I listened to Warren Zevon's 1989 release, "Transverse City." Corea played piano on "Long Arm Of The Law." The album also features Jerry Garcia, David Gilmour and Neil Young contributing on various tracks.

In an attempt to improve the the record listening experience on the podcast, we recently purchased a new amplifier from Dayton Audio. Jake breaks down how it works and why it's an improvement over our old setup and we discuss how albums are enhanced by listening to them in the proper setting.

Recently, we listened to "Swimming" by Mac Miller. We didn't record the full episode, so this is just a brief recount of our impressions from it. The album was released on August 3rd, 2018 and about one month later, Miller passed away at just 26 years old. We plan to release a full episode soon, reviewing "Circles" which was released posthumously on January 17th 2020

R.I.P. Mac Miller 1/19/92 - 9/7/18

We've got more Record Night podcasts coming, but in the meantime, this is a song I recorded recently. It's based on a song that was sung spontaneously by my 4 year old nephew in an attempt to avoid his nap.

Hiccups (I Love Everybody In The Whole Wide World)

music arranged by Collin Crooks

lyrics by Ben Kiesner

Collin Crooks - Vocals, electric guitar

Jacob Iglewski - Bass
