Pete and Tim round out the first half of season 2 bringing some rays of sunshine to a cold October night with Bob Marley's 1975 album LIVE. Contemplate the one drop, trances and the invention of the meme-worthy word "hangry", and get down and skanky with some of the greatest live reggae ever put to record. The episode ends with the boys' cover of "Trenchtown Rock", with special guests Dave DeSimone on drums and Keith Messier on guitar.

PNYC represents the live album and DVD of Portishead's lush and immersive live show with the NY Philharmonic at the Roseland Ballroom. Recorded in 1998, this album is the crowning achievement of the pioneering trip hop group. Revel in the raw energy and cinematic expansiveness, and marvel at Beth Gibbons' perfect vocals. We end with our cover of "Sour Times" featuring Jasmine Moran on the flute.

Pete and Tim both really hope if there's one album you listen to this season, it's THIS one. It deserves every ounce of recognition and appreciation it can get. Before writing "Falling Slowly" and starring in the movie "Once", Glen Hansard had an incredible indie rock band that really knew how to work an audience. Check out the energy, musicianship and raw emotion of this incredible experience, documented for all to enjoy. Pete and Tim end with their cover of the angsty "Pavement Tune".
