This week RTS dives into the topic of personas and how our personas may shift as people move through life. Do you adapt to the social environment you are in, or are you unabashedly yourself? Are you remaining authentic or are you putting on a mask? Well, the conversations awaits. Hop on in and listen while in your 1996 Ford Taurus!
Hi RTS fans. Sharon from Zoom here. I was so excited when Jake asked me for help to host their podcast virtually. (Zoom is not a sponsor of this podcast.) I listened in on this episode and enjoyed every bit of it. Remember the homework thing? Well, they investigate why they feel like they can't do things, why they sometimes assume they're bad at things, and how they try new things. My favorite part had me asking myself, "Am I the type of person who dives headfirst in the deep end when I try something new, or do I spend a lot of time toe-dipping, preparing, and learning?" (Oh also, bless Gerald; he seems like a nice man.)
Mics are hot! And we rollin'. This episode is ⅔ improv, ⅓ exploration, and 100% good times. First we recap our past few weeks. Then we discuss self-reflection, self-efficacy, and having fun vs serious analytical improvement. How do you examine your capabilities and seize your potential?
Please keep all body parts inside the episode, because you're about to take this conversational roller coaster through topics on aging, maturity, expectations, generations, and commitment. Take a trip with us down the explorations of our expectations. What did we expect of ourselves at various ages? How have those expectations changed? Where did they come from?
The boys are back with episode 2 of their therapy sessions. This session 100% walks through the balance of planning vs going with the flow. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the conversation about everything from predicting your life to testing your North Star. (There is also a drinking game in this episode. Can you guess the phrase?)
This is the beginning of a project that we decided to do in the summer of 2019. In this episode we have a discussion on routines, schedules, habits, and goals. Join us as we dive into these topics and crack a few jokes along the way.
