Years in Recovery: 28.
SUD was really just a symptom of self-medicating the CPTSD/depression/anxiety away. Every form of abuse in childhood. Led into DV (domestic violence) Brother committed suicide in prison at 26. Known nationwide as "the prison lady".
Crisis responder, intervention specialist. Run 2 non-profits. Author of 4 soon to be 5th published books. Book "Pathway to Serenity; Overcoming Spiritual Bankruptcy" had 10,000 copies printed & planted into every state women's prison in the country. Best parts: with my husband 28 years, mother of 6 living beautiful children plus one in Heaven. 3 wonderful son-in-loves, 2 super fantastic grandbabies. Plus countless youth who call me mom and unknown thousands who call me Pastor Saved, sanctified, delivered & filled.
