This weekend in my reading I came across the story of Gideon in the book of Judges. This story was powerful, because it spoke of the journey of recovering the ancient path. So in the next couple episodes I’m going to break down the book and speak on the the things the Lord is speaking to me in this journey.

This morning, I was brought into the Lords presence. It was a moment that was not curated but was found in allowance. Giving Him the space to move and speak. How does the journey to recover the ancient path begin? When do we realize we need so much more that the world can’t offer, that religion can offer. It is when we realize we have a God size hole that only he can fill..

I was hit with a bout of feeling invalidated…not secure. I was praying to God asking for a word for God and felt like I was getting nothing. The weight was heavy and I could feel it being one of those day. In desperation I opened up my Bible to do some reading and in it God gave me a word.

In this episode I go over the goal and purpose behind this podcast. In a way it is a response, to what I feel God is wanting me to share with other men my journey as I continue to uncover the “ancient path”, in hope that it will encourage other men in their journey as well. Jeremiah 6:16 Thus says the Lord:

“Stand by the roads, and look,

and ask for the ancient paths,

where the good way is; and walk in it,

and find rest for your souls.
