Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Steve Bisson moved to Massachusetts in 1999 to pursue his dream of working in the mental health field. He has been a therapist for 17 years, has owned his private practice, Straight To The Point Therapy for 10 years. Steve has also worked in diverse fields, including community outpatient services, and the criminal justice field, as a member of a mental health crisis team, as well as a trainer. EMDR trained, he has processed trauma and bereavement issues throughout his career. He has a podcast called "Finding Your Way Through Therapy", and has written a book of the same name. He has recently launched a new coaching program called "Emotional Management Coaching" to help people accept, regulate, and express emotions. When not working, Steve enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his two daughters and two cats."
