  • Foundations Focus: Shelley Matthews

    Guest: Shelley Matthews, admissions coordinator

Welcome to a bonus episode of Recovery Unscripted, where we sit down with some of the people who make up Foundations Recovery Network and explore the different ways that they’re working to create lifetime relationships for long-term recovery.

My guest today is Shelley Matthews who serves as one of Foundations’ admissions coordinators. Ultimately, all the work that every member of the marketing department does eventually leads to that one moment when someone picks up the phone and calls for help. That’s a daunting, vulnerable place to be, and the way that phone conversation unfolds can end up changing the caller’s entire life trajectory. So, how can the admissions coordinators charged with answering that call stay prepared to dive into the details of the often complex admissions process all while keeping the focus on the ultimate goal: caring for people? Shelley is kind enough to join us today to talk us through the realities of what it looks like to be a guide for someone as they make these life-altering decisions.

If you’d like to talk with an admissions coordinator about the treatment options at Foundations programs, please call anytime at 855-823-2141 or email [email protected].

  • Foundations Focus: Matt King

Guest: Matt King, senior systems administrator

Welcome to a bonus episode of Recovery Unscripted, where we sit down with some of the people who make up Foundations Recovery Network and explore the different ways that they’re working to create lifetime relationships for long-term recovery. My guest today is Matt King who serves as senior systems administrator with the Foundations marketing team.

It can be a great feeling when everyone in an organization works together to build a website that connects you with the people out there that you want to serve. You put together all the right content, create right design and finally press that button to share your website with the world. But who’s looking out for your website behind the scenes to keep it running smoothly for the months and years after it launches? Well, if you’re lucky, it might be someone like Matt King, who’s kind enough to take a few minutes to explain exactly what it takes to administrate the web.

My guest today is Kathy Frossard who serves as Foundations’ VP of marketing and business development. If you’re listening to this podcast, chances are you probably already know all about how the behavioral health field is changing. There are new pieces of legislation and regulations, there are changes to insurance coverage and reimbursement policies, there’s the ever-changing challenge of the opioid epidemic…and organizations in this field are being forced to rethink the way they’ve always done things and be smarter about how they plan for the future. So in the midst of all that, Kathy is kind enough to join us to talk about how she brings together Foundations’ marketing and business development endeavors to help the organization stay at the forefront of bringing treatment to people who need it.

If you’d like to hear Kathy dive into these topics even further, you can come to her presentation at the Innovations in Recovery conference happening April 16-19th in San Diego, California. For more info and to register, visit http://frn.swoogo.com/iir2019
