Our topic today is that when is seems like we don’t have enough, God IS enough.  We have to get over that it looks like enough when it is enough!  If you’ll give God your “not enough” He will make it enough!

Waiting is our topic today and our Michael take-away is, “While we’re waiting, God is working!”.  As an example, a word from the Lord might be more mundane than we think.  But we have the written word of God so we don’t have to wait around to hear a voice for us to make good decisions.  And the word from the Lord might just be, “Wait”.

Today’s bible verses are found in 1 Kings 17: 2-7

Today’s message, “Lord, make the DRY season MY season” and is all about drought.  The parallels here are between a weather drought and a nation-wide spiritual drought.  But, we know the Rainmaker and even though there may be a drought, God is there IN the drought!

Our theme therefore today is, “God is there and God cares!”.   

And, anytime you take a good thing and make it a *main* thing, it becomes a bad thing….so don’t put anything above God!

Today Duncan’s message is “Are We All Clunkers?”  In it, Duncan compares old cares and restoring them.  Similarly, we are clunkers and Jesus is *our* restoration.  Everything this side of heaven is a clunker!

Today, Pastor Michael’s message is a return to the series on “The Secret of Being Bless-able”.  It is the last of the series that he has been covering for several Sundays.  The main theme to this series is “Character Creates Capacity for Blessings”.  Today’s message is about authentic religion and how, “If we know Jesus, we have to show Jesus”.

Our mouths will destroy our credibility just about faster than anything!  We have the greatest message in the history of the world, why would we mess up our credibility to communicate that message?

Pastor Michael’s message today is a departure from his series on “The Secret of Being Bless-able”.  Today’s message is about FORGIVENESS.  Forgiveness brings freedom.  It is about setting people free.  The prisoner that forgiveness sets free is me!

We need the capacity of character to accept what God is blessing us with.  So, we have to grow in character.  Today’s message is on being a doer.  Our key thought is, “Trust God and do the next, right thing”.  If you want a different life, it won’t happen by accident…it will happen by ACTION.

Today was our first gathering back at our church and we had a little audio difficulty. The main audio file didn’t work out, so we convinced a hard-working yet furloughed (blame COVID!) computer to read Michael’s message.
