Hemant underwent some minor surgery this past week and that meant he had a weekend of lying on the couch, as per doctor’s orders. This gave way to being able to work through a few TV series.

In Episode 25 of the Red 7 Movie Cast podcast Hemant gives his final reaction to season 2 of the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why.

And with that lazy weekend on the couch, Hemant was able to also re-watch season 1 of the YouTube Red series, Cobra Kai, re-visit The Karate Kid Part 3, and binge season 5 of Brooklyn 99. He gives some brief thoughts on each of these.

In Episode 24 of the Red 7 Movie Cast podcast Hemant gives his initial impression of season 2 of the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. He’s only 6 episodes in, but that doesn’t stop him from filling you in on what he likes and doesn’t like, so far.

Summer weather is in full swing and Hemant has wasted no time in getting his backyard ready for the season. Summers are hot in Saskatchewan, but they are also short, so it’s very important to enjoy them while they’re around. This however didn’t stop him from recording Episode 23 of The Red 7 Movie Cast.

In this episode Hemant reveals his new strategy to aid in preventing him from inadvertently buying the same new release Blurays more than once – something that he embarrassingly does quite often.

Right after watching his Toronto Raptors get swept out of the NBA Playoffs for the 3rd time in a row by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Hemant stays strong and records Episode 22 of The Red 7 Movie Cast.

In this bonus episode of The Red 7 Movie Cast Hemant shares his thoughts on season 1 of the hot new release Cobra Kai, a YouTube Red original series.

As a die-hard Karate Kid fan, Hemant has been looking forward to the release of this series since it was first announced. Being from Canada, where YouTube Red is unavailable, Hemant wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to watch it. But luckily episodes 1 and 2 were free to watch and the additional 8 episodes could be purchased for $2.50 each on YouTube.

He bought them all on the release day of Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018, and stayed up until 2am to binge all 10 episodes. Talk about dedication!

Other than revealing some plot points, and some vague discussion about various scenes, Hemant keeps this review spoiler free.
