The Biden Pentagon has blacklisted aerial drones made by a Chinese Communist Party vendor called DJI as “a threat to national security.” Thankfully, the Defense Department will no longer purchase or use DJI’s miniature aircraft.

Unfortunately, most of the vast numbers of such drones purchased by American consumers were made by DJI or other CCP companies. That means the Chinese Communists not only can access in real-time information about when and where they are flying and what their cameras are seeing. The CCP can also commandeer such vehicles at will.

It’s hard to overstate the dangers of having what amount to Chinese time-bombs operating in our skies. Official Washington is now publicly freaking out that some such drones are routinely penetrating off-limits airspace. What if they are not only surveilling targets of interest there, but ordered to fly into them?
