A conversation with our good friend Tim Shipp. A life long resident of Paulding County Ga. Tim describes how he has seen a very rural county become a thriving part of the metro Atlanta area. From conversations of farm life, his Faith, family, hunting and current events. Tim gives his perspective on the questions: What was it like to not have any turkeys to hunt and when deer season was only three days. Tim gives his account while working for the Dallas Police Department on April 4th 1977, when a passenger plane loosing power to its engines, lead to a day he will never forget.
Cornbread and Cooney talk about late deer scouting while squirrel hunting in the summer. From thoughts on deer feeding habits, game cameras and wind directions, we give our perspective on what we look for in possible setups. We talk on getting and giving bias and partial information on important topics in a social setting. How do you sort and give information? Are you ok with getting information inline with someone's opinion from the start?
We sit down and talk with Thomas Veale aka "Cowboy Tom". Conversations on Tom's childhood growing up as a preacher's son and his love of the outdoors. Tom tells how he was lead to "cowboy", as he headed west to California. From horse college, to working on numerous ranches, Cowboy Tom tells funny stories of his 20 plus years out west hunting and working. We sit down with Ga. Game Warden Garrett Pownall. Garrett tells us about his experience becoming a Game Warden, from the very beginning of going through college while interning with the Ga. DNR. To countless hours of physical and academic training at the Georgia Public Training Center. Garrett gives detailed accounts of stories while on the job and his down to earth felling's about doing every young hunters dream job.
