The heart of Jesus' ministry is the preaching of the Gospel of God. This Gospel message focuses on the reality that Jesus is the promised Messiah who will suffer and die on behalf of God's people, God's Kingdom has drawn near, and repentance and belief is commanded of all. This message was preached in conjunction with the partaking of the Lord's Supper at the gathering of Red Bud Baptist Church.

The opening verses of the Gospel of Mark lays the foundation for the rest of the Gospel. Mark sets out to show that Jesus' Gospel is the fulfillment of Old Testament hopes to redeem God's people from their sins.

Spiritual maturity does not happen overnight. It occurs as a result of disciplined living under God's Word. The Word of God is the primary means in which the Holy Spirit gives victory over sin and nurtures spiritual maturity.

The acceptance of the Gospel demands faithful Gospel-centered living. Lives sacrificially lived for the Gospel are a pleasing aroma to God and vibrant fragrance to others.

The Gospel is not only a call to live in a covenant relationship with God, but in a covenant relationship with church also.

The Scriptures should serve as more than simply a foundation for living. They should saturate every aspect of our church and lives.
