Our habits determine the creature we will become. We often think about breaking bad habits, but it’s just as important to develop good habits. This week, we will focus on prayer.

Your habits can predict the kind of “creature” you will become. Based on your present habits, what kind of person do you think you could expect to be?

• Happiness is cosmetic; it is on the outside. Joy is character; it is
on the inside.
• Happiness meets surface needs. Joy meets your deepest needs.
• Happiness is like a thermometer, registering conditions. Joy is the
thermostat that controls the conditions.
• Happiness evaporates in a crisis. Joy intensifies in a crisis

Having less of what doesn't matter means we can experience more of what does matter. Heather shares three things we can do to get to this: cut back, clear out, pay off.
