  • OPSEC: Part 2

This week, we’re going to take a deeper dive into OPSEC, or Operational Security.  We’ll be discussing communication security, and the color-code system of operational awareness developed by the United States Marine Corps.

In the episode's Second Segment, I'll give my take on Fascism, and the new Republican Party.

  • OPSEC: Part 1

This week, we’re going to discuss OPSEC, or OPerational SECurity.  If you’re following the Asymmetrical Approach, you’re not always going to be surrounded by family and friends.  In this episode, we’re going to discuss implementing some standard OPSEC procedures that may keep you from sinking your own ship before you ever get it under way.  We’ll cover the basics — things that fall under two umbrella categories:  Blending In, and Being Aware.

In the Second Segment, we’re gonna crack the history books, and take a brief look at a left-wing community development organization that spread from coast to coast, right here in America — what it did right, and how things went horribly wrong.

  • Lessons Learned

Last week, we very briefly described the Asymmetrical Approach.  This week, we’re going to take a closer look at it.  Where did it come from, how was it developed, why is it superior to the direct approach, and how can we adapt it for use in community organization?  Including examples from current actions.  Our aim here is not to just teach you what to do, but help you understand why you should do it that way.

As promised, here’s your link to Beau of the Fifth Column, a redneck journalist who will definitely surprise you.  Very insightful; a lot of common sense.

  • The Storm is Coming

This is the first episode of our channel reboot.  The first segment in an introduction to our Asymmetrical Approach, a new paradigm for serious activists.  The second segment is an analysis of a couple of recent demonstrations.  Did they succeed or fail?  What went right?  What went wrong?  (Our new episodes will be following this classroom/lab approach.)  Solidarity!
