Topic of the Day: Remember when Songs actually had Bridges

The bridge holds a special place in the hearts of music fans. It's not the most immediate part of a song, it's the part that ends up being the hardest hitting, the least shakeable. If nothing else, it's the most distinctive part of a song, appearing after the second chorus like…

Think of Songs where the bridge just hits different

Here a few Examples

TREY SONGZ, "NEIGHBORS KNOW MY NAME"

AALIYAH, "TRY AGAIN" - See, you don't want to throw it all away...

ASHANTI, "FOOLISH" - See, when I get the strength to leave you...

USHER, "U REMIND ME" - I know it's so unfair to you

Joe - I wanna know - Tell me what I gotta do to please you

112- it’s over now - Baby it's a shame, shame that we go through

Dru Hill - We’re Not Making Love No More-  I dream of lovers past and

Tevin Campbell- Can We Talk - one more change with you again

Mya- Case of Ex -Tell me, why she on the phone in the middle of the night?

SWV- Weak - I try hard to fight it

Destiny Child - Destiny Fulfilled Album

The Soundtrack- is our segment where we share a song or two that is the vibe for the week new or old.

Victoria Monet- Coastin’

Nas -Brunch On Sundays

Allyn - Temporary Feelings

Jack Harlow & Pooh Shiesty - SUVs (Black on Black)
