An overview of the Wisdom literature in the OT. In many ways this serves as a corrective to the OT text that promises things to go well for those who do well. It is a reminder that the world is broken but we have a God we can cry out to in pain, in joy, in hope, and in desperation. It reminds us we are his beloved and he is a God who listens and hears our cries.
