Yay! We are back and running. Join us this season of unpacking the many wonders of parenting. I may not be a seasoned mom like the ones who have kids going off to college but I’m sure I can give insight to scared parents to be, parents who are already to be, and those who are not parent to be yet. Ha-ha.

In the final episode of season one, I reflect on the last ten weeks. How amazing this journey has been and really appreciating God’s blessings. Thank y’all so much for joining me and believing in me. One big thing about growth… without accountability of your own accounts, you will not grow or change. It is important to reflect on yourself and be true to your efforts. Are you not losing weight or are you not doing the required work to lose weight and so forth. Accountability is hard. But, to me, being complacent is harder. Complacency is where regret is birthed. I hope y’all enjoy.

Letting God work his way through you is such a beautiful experience. It is important to have a good community to help keep you on the right path. Realizing, that you cannot do this thing called life without God, is probably one of the best realizations you can have. God can for anyone who seeks Him and who desires a relationship with Him. I hope y’all enjoy hearing David’s comeback story! David is nearly 5 months sober. I’m grateful for my brother and his tribulations. He’s such a good person to learn from and someone who really has been so transformed, and is humble and gracious enough to share his story in hopes to help others. This weeks episode is about setting boundaries and understanding the consequences of not setting boundaries which leads to the wrong community. I miss my dear friend. I really do. But, I understand God’s plan is bigger than mine. I am still working on repenting and changing me through Christ. I am still learning. Be patient with yourself. See your friends differences and praise them where it’s due. It takes a lot of strength to walk away, and sometimes, you’re the one being walked away from… what blessings can you find in your worst breakup… losing a best friend.

Sitting down and talking to my mom about God’s way in her life was such a good time. I learned a few things about my mom and I’m glad that God was able to reward me with this conversation. Communication isn’t always the easiest thing for my moms and me and I am honored to get the chance at re-getting to know my mama. I love you mom! I hope y’all enjoy.

Living with anxiety wasn’t something I asked for. Having a fast racing mind also wasn’t on the agenda of weaknesses I hoped to have. With that being said, it’s about your outlook. Are you able to look at the cup half full over empty? God definitely gave me clarity of understanding why I end up getting anxiety. Things that help me is slowing down. Reminding myself God will make a way and life will go on. And lastly journaling. I didn’t mention this during the recording, but definitely want to ensure y’all understand me when I say I journal my feelings because it helps me personally to see them on paper. This episode really caused me to sit down and figure out what the Holy Spirit meant to me. What results in my life are due to listening to Gods promise. Where I needed to check myself so I could actually be transformed by God. Leave the arrogance…. Behind. John 14:26 says that God gives us a helper. A helper assists, guides, comforts, and so forth and God will reveal his words spoken to us when we need a reminder. Thank you for joining me in this episode! I hope you enjoy. ♥️

Recording this episode took a lot of prayer on my end. I’ve had to do some self reflection onto what made me have an issue with my sister. I had to dig deep and I want to dedicate this episode to my brother David. Him and I had a good conversation and he made amends. And I admired him for that and that was when it clicked, this will be my apology. I speak about some raw emotions between Jenna and myself and how we overcame with God. Of course this is Jenna’s episode and for her. I love you Jenna. With all my heart.

Talking about God to my children is important to me. Especially since redefining my walk with God is rethinking what I know and replacing it with a child like wonder. Kids ask so many questions. Some tough and some easy and I notice as I get older I’m challenging myself to seek God’s law and truly understanding God’s ultimate gift. John 3:16 days for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life. Thank you for listening!! Enjoy!
