One of the things that the shed blood of Jesus accomplished for us is described in a concept called "GRAFTING." This grafting idea occurs when you take a plant shoot or twig and insert it into another living plant, hence making two plants become one. 

The shedding of Jesus' blood accomplished for us a joining to the very life of God. Because of what Jesus did, everyone in the world, that was once separated from the life of God, can now fully and truly boast about being rejoined to God's life. 

Something remarkable happened when Christ died and it is called the grafting. Usually, the grafted plant begins to enjoy everything that the parent plant has to supply. Isn't this how we became joined to the life of Christ and now have access to everything He's got?
