The Bathurst 12 Hours had a wild finish to the record distance breaking race they put on. They traveled 1,212 miles (1950 km) in 12 hours around Mount Panorama. NASCAR attempted to have another race with The Clash at the Collesium...turned out to be more of a demolishin' derby but hey where else can you see a 4 hour race that has an average speed of 21.8 mph to go 37.5 miles. Oh well, there's good years and bad years so hopefully this one can be left behind and move forward to some better races because up next for NASCAR is the Daytona 500!

The 2023 Rolex 24 grid has been announced and 60 entries are confirmed! Along with this, Porsche has officially announced it's drivers lineup for this year in IMSA and WEC. Tony Stewart's SRX series announces it will be racing on Thursday nights this summer on ESPN and the FIA makes a rule about personnel expressing personal views.

F1 silly season part 2 is underway for 2023 but this time its for Team Principals??? We discuss the personnel changes and talk about some future possibilities that we conspire. IMSA wraps up its homologation test at Daytona and the GTP cars were well received! Everyone is looking forward to this next golden era of sportscar racing! Sportscar teams announce driver lineups and WEC announces an additional race for 2024 that the opening round will be a 6 hour race at Qatar.

Some end of the year events take place this week including the biggest topic on this week's episode: IMSA's GTP Homologation Test at Daytona International Speedway. All nine (9) GTP entries for this upcoming Rolex 24 in January are at this test. Lamborghini announces that Romain Grosjean will become a factory driver and join their GTP (LMDh) team for 2024. F1 has canceled the Chinese GP for 2023 and Portimao is looking like a replacement candidate.
