Avoid going to the hospital & being on a ventilator; symptoms; prevention tips. Slow the spread by socially distancing, washing hands frequently, avoiding crowds and when you are in a crowd, wear a mask.
I WEAR A MASK in honor of my grandmother who was 25 year old and pregnant with my mother in 1918, until momma was born in February of 1919, during the second wave of the virus. She delivered my mother alone in the room she was quarantined upstairs in the family home she and her husband owned throughout the pregnancy, after which she knocked on the wall of the room , to let family members know that my mother had arrived.
All of this occurred 101 years ago, (at a time in our self-correcting American history), when colored folk were living under the Democrats legally mandated 'Jim Crow Segregation' Codes in Richmond, Virginia.
