In the penultimate episode of this seasons Red Robin Podcast we are delighted to be joined by Sky Sport's Rugby League presenter Jenna Brooks as she gives us a great insight to what life behind the camera is really like. Jenna also shares her view on how Rovers performed in 2021 and heaps praise on Head Coach Tony Smith. 

In the second part of the podcast we review the season as a whole and look at the highs and lows of 2021 before discussing what our season highlights are. We revel in the news that three Robins will line up for England in the next few weeks and discuss the news that Danny McGuire, David Hodgson and Stanley Gene have all signed contract extensions.

In this weeks bumper edition of the Red Robin Podcast we are joined by Gareth Walker from the Daily Mirror and Steve Brady from Catalan Media as we look ahead to meteoric our play off semi final against the Catalan Dragons.  

We also reflect on our remarkable victory over Warrington Wolves and heap praise on the Robins for their backs to the wall performance against one of the most expensively assembled sides in Super League history.

Its play off time and for the first time since 2013 Hull Kingston Rovers are actually involved!

With a play off place guaranteed Rovers travelled to Headingley last Friday to take on the Leeds Rhinos in a game which meant nothing other then finding out who we will be facing in this weeks elimination game.

And with that in mind we are delighted to be joined by Hull KR Hull Live reporter James O'Brien as we look back at last weeks defeat and ponder what impact injuries to key players such as Matty Parcell will have when we take on the Warrington Wolves this Friday.

We also discuss Will Maher's new contract and congratulate the clubs women's side after they achieved promotion to the Championship after they achieved a 28-16 victory over Dewsbury Moor Ladies on Sunday.

In this weeks Red Robin Podcast we preview our crucial game against the Castleford Tigers at Craven Park on Saturday night as the club looks forward to a do or die battle under the floodlights against out play off rivals. We look back at our entertaining victory over the Leigh Centurions at Magic Weekend and ponder who might miss out now that it has been confirmed Jordan Abdull is set to make his long awaited comeback from injury. 

There is disappointing news to mull over as well after Tony Smith revealed George Lawler isn't fit to return and may have played his last game for the Robins due to a thumb injury whilst Korbin Sims will miss out yet again. 

We also take a look at Rovers latest acquisition after it was announced Greg Richards will be joining the club from the London Broncos and we also discuss the news that Greg Minikin will be leaving at the end of the season to join Warrington Wolves whilst Ben Crooks has signed a one year contract extension.
