Red Storm Rapid Reaction - St. John’s Hoops

St. John’s never got going today, but still they had opportunities late in the game to come away with the victory and they failed to take advantage. A disappointing trip comes to an end, but this team still has plenty of talent and a whole season ahead of them. Let’s stick with these guys! 

There’s tough losses. There’s realllllly tough losses. And then there’s what just happened in the Bahamas Vs Baylor. Just when think you’ve seen it all… Move over Nova up 16 in the BET. Step aside Michael Stephens and Seton Hall. Time to add another memory to the Rolodex of doom. 

St. John’s beats Richard Pitinos New Mexico squad 85-71. RJ Luis once again was absolutely tremendous, finishing with 21 points 11 boards and 7 assists. 

#22 St. John’s beats Wagner in a defensive battle by a score of 66-45. Rj Luis lead the way with 13 points and Deivon Smith had 9 pts, 8 rebs $ 3 assists. 

Next up: New Mexico!

St. John’s shrugs off a slow first half and blows past Quinnipiac late 96-73. Rj Luis lead the way with 24 points and 13 rebounds. 

St. John’s crushes Fordham 92-60 in the season opener. Kadary Richmond lead the way with 16 points 10 boards and 5 assists and sophomore Simeon Wilcher showed off his confidence with a career best 17 points. 

Zuby Ejiofor had 27 points and 13 rebounds and that’s not a typo!! St. John’s wins 91-85 in an exciting October matchup, good things are here for Johnnies fans!
