The Business Council of Australia has demonstrated that Queensland has one of the toughest regulatory environments, making it extremely difficult for businesses to remain viable over a long time. 

CEO of the Australian Restaurant and Cafe Association Wes Lambert told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, "Small businesses shouldn't be the ones constantly hammered by strict regulations."
