Janet Elaine Smith has been writing for over 30 years, but her first book was not published until 2000. Now she has 22 books published and available. Three of them are non-fiction, including a memoir of the 9 years she and her late husband spent in Venezuela. "The rest of them are fun," she says. She writes in many genres, but her favorite is time travel, including her newest book, Port Call to the Future. "It is such fun to be able to change history." Several of her books are based on things she has found in her genealogy searches. She says her husband got all the rich and famous ancestors, while she got the fun ones.

A Little about her new Book!

When pirate Black Sam Bellamy's ship, the Whydah, sank off the coast of Cape Cod in 1717, everyone from the crew was found, either dead or alive, except Black Sam himself. He was never seen again-until he washed up at a celebration of his demise that Blair Smythe hosted. Kin to Sam's love in the 1700s, Maria Hallett, Sam thought she was Maria. As Sam learns to deal with today's modern world, Blair sets out to prove that he is who he says he is. A fun romp through two times, with events that author Janet Elaine Smith says surprised even her. Port Call to the Future is the sequel to Maria's story, House Call to the Past.

Join me as we have fun, This music is so Killer!

Pop Singer/Songwriter Lea Marie describes her music as "Ma-Gaga", an exciting cross between Madonna & Lady Gaga. On her upcoming album, "Undercover Lover", which will be released on May 22nd, 2012, her influences are evident. In addition to “Ma-Gaga”, there is also some influences from Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry & Christina Perri thrown into the mix.Lea Marie’s 1st Single from “Undercover Lover” is the up-tempo track, "Take Me For A Ride" and is a clever play on words with double innuendoes throughout the song with an incredibly catchy hook. . The 4th song switches gears with a Pop Ballad called "Turning Me On", and showcases Lea Marie's songwriting talent on piano which clearly exhibits her unique Piano Pop sensibilities. Lea Marie is the new pop princess and what sets her apart from the manufactured pop stars is that Lea writes all of her own songs. Lea Marie has composed over 200 original pop songs on piano to date and her love for pop music radiates throughout her new release.“Lea Marie’s got it all- the voice, the songs, & the look,” states Jason Blume, an industry veteran and songwriter for artists such as Britney Spears & the Backstreet Boys. “I’ve worked with countless songwriters & have rarely found any who show as much talent and promise.”She burst onto the L.A. music scene in 2008 after being rated the “#1 Pop Demo”, in Music Connection Magazine.  “Lea Marie’s talent and work ethic puts her at the top of my list of singer/songwriters most likely to succeed,” states John Braheny, author of “The Craft and Business of Songwriting.” Her Pop Music has developed into a dynamic blend of “infectious pop tunes, catchy hooks & beats for edgy ear candy with powerful storytelling lyrics”.
