On this episode I talk with Chris Lasher, Ex-situ population manager, about the process of getting Red Wolves ready for life in the wild.  I hope that everyone listening to the podcast will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed talking with Chris.  I know you will learn a lot about the criteria used to determine which animals are good candidates for release.

  • Early history of the red wolf

Episode 2 touches on the early history of the red wolf.  You will be introduced  to some of the early pioneers who had the future of the red wolf in their hands.  This episode tells the red wolf story up to the point when a captive breeding program is established.
