OP recalls some recurring nightmares they have had throughout their life. There was a babysitter who would punish them often, making them go outside and sit on the porch in the cold. The OP also recalls when the babysitter would turn off all the lights in the house and go hide, saying they couldn’t get anything to eat until OP found her. The only problem is, were these just nightmares? Or did this actually happen?

The Yuba County Five were all young men from Yuba City, California, United States, all with mild intellectual disabilities or psychiatric conditions, who attended a college basketball game at California State University, Chico on the night of February 24, 1978. We tell the story of what happened.

Two brothers are chilling in their rooms when one of them hears a whistling noise. Assuming it’s the other brother, they at first do nothing to investigate, but after the other brother confirms it wasn’t their own, they begin to fear where it actually might be coming from.

OP tells of a time their mother, someone who never believed in ghosts or anything of the sort, began to experience something very strange and disturbing when OP was a toddler. Randomly the dog would start barking wildly, and then when she would see what was wrong, she’d notice OP gone. After Frantically searching and finding them almost drowning the first time, OP’s mom later found them somewhere quite disturbing.

OP had a nice neighbor all growing up that for some reason her whole family took a disliking to. They could never understand why she was so disliked by everyone. The claim was that when she interacted with the men in the family, they would later go missing. At first it seemed absurd, but as time went on, maybe it wasn’t absurd after all.

While at a club with his friends in Cuba, OP noticed a girl from across the room checking him out. When he finally went over to talk to her and ask for her name, she said into his ear “If I told you, I’d have to kill you.” But that wasn’t the strangest thing that happened that night.

A little girl was up past her bedtime playing with a toy. She dropped it under the bed and when she went to retrieve it, she saw half a face staring back up at her. Another story tells about someone who saw some strange creatures descending from the sky, but woke up and realized it was just a dream. But as they came to, they realized maybe it wasn’t a dream after all.

A husband and wife were out camping one night when the wife had to use the bathroom. They both left for the restroom, but when they came back they could see a man wandering through their camp. Then they saw the silver glint of something he was holding in his hand.

While driving alone one night, OP suddenly noticed a black car tailgating her and flashing its lights. A hand came out the window motioning for her to pull over, but she got a terrible feeling in her gut that this was someone NOT to heed.
