This week, Kurt looks at John 16:16-33 as we explore a couple of attributes that Jesus says that we will have that will help us continue this mission. We find that Jesus tells us that we will have joy that can not be taken away, peace in Him, and that we are called to take heart because He’s overcome the world. We look at how those three attributes are an update to our operating system that will help us share the gospel and impact people's lives like never before.

This week, we continue looking at Jesus' important words in John as He gives us the instructions on how to interact with the world after He leaves. Today we talk about judging. We look at it through the lens of how it might be keeping us from fully living out our God-given purposes. We explore how the Spirit is moving to convict the world into understanding sin and righteousness, and how we get to connect with the Spirit who gives us what we need to share with people at the exact right time.

This week we look at the subject of love. We often talk about love as a church, but in this message, we take a deep look at what it would look like if we truly brought the love of God to our community. We challenge everyone to examine their lives as we move past this pandemic and see how each of us is called to share the love of God with our friends, family, and neighbors.

This week, we begin our new series called “Updating our Operating System”. During the next few weeks, we'll be going in-depth into John chapters 14, 15, 16, and 17. In these chapters, we see that Jesus lays out how we are to continue His mission here on earth even as He departs the disciples and how we are to operate after His death and ascension. We begin the series by looking at John 14:1-7. We look at the call to not let our hearts be troubled, how we update to a heavenly mindset, and how we are to boldly share who Jesus is.

This week, we look at the importance of discipleship. We ask, do you believe your life would benefit from allowing God to help you grow in what is great and then allowing Him the opportunity to transform the things that are not? This is the tract of discipleship. It requires unpacking the things in our lives that really do not have forever value and increasing the things that do by giving them away.
