What is going on in South Africa? Did you know that white Christian farmers are being killed? The ANC party is Marxist and is killing many people. Why would we do an interview about a Christian work in Kenya - on the other side of the world and seemingly unrelated to our own work? Answer, because of the providence of God. One day, not long ago, we had a lady contact us here in the Hudson Valley. This lady worked for Chapel Field School in their finance department. We are friends with Chapel Field. Turns out, her father and brother had a deep interest in this work that we will be talking about. With time we learned about a really important work with abandoned children that is ongoing in Kenya. Specifically, this area is referred to as the Kenyan Highlands, located in central and western parts of Kenya, on the continent of Africa. The children's home was founded by Anne Chege, who continues to this day as the center's Director. Years ago, Anne worked for Barclay's bank for some 30 years. She then started New Hope in the year 2000. The home takes in abandoned orphaned children and provides for them. This gives them hope for a better future. We discuss the home and Anne's involvement. Hospitality is a wonderful gift to another person. The Scriptures tell us to be hospitable. Romans 12:13 says "distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality." Today we discuss hospitality with a pastor. He has seen where it can be the bridge to evangelism. He mentions the book by Rosaria Butterfield - the Gospel Comes with a House Key. This illustrates the principle. Another thing we discuss is the kingdom parables of Jesus. The Mustard Seed parable is amazing! The little mustard seed is so tiny. Yet if grows into one of the largest of the garden herbs - tree like. The unassuming little seed grows very large. This is the way of God's kingdom in history. The second parable we discuss is the leaven in the loaf. Leaven, or yeast, is also small in comparison to the loaf. But the affect it has is pervasive. Over time, it affects the whole loaf - all of it! This is the picture that our Lord uses describing His kingdom. Together, it becomes a large kingdom, and it is pervasive. Have we been subject to propaganda over the past 5 years? You may be inclined to deny it, but think back to the days of COVID and what we were told by the "experts." You know, the folks who drilled into our consciousness that we must "trust the science." We were told that COVID originated in a wet market, or a bat cave. We were sold a lot of hype and our media supported these "experts." We didn't really know the extent of the virus, so everyone was scared. A few folks who told us that masking did not work were scorned. People who didn't receive the mRNA "vaccine" were shunned and even some lost their jobs. It's true, we had a family member who lost their job because they did not believe the hype. Yet they lost their job. The cancel culture was real. If you didn't go along with the narratives from NPR, CNN, MSNBC, etc., you were treated with disdain. A few honest doctors who saw through it, came out and received the cold shoulder treatment. Worse yet, if they didn't go along with the hype, they risked losing their medical license. We witnessed a Jewish doctor experimenting with a combination of cheap drugs and he had real success in fighting the virus. Dr. Zelenko came up with a hydroxychloroquine regimen. It worked, and he published a peer-reviewed paper on it. People's lives were saved. Hard to fight against success! But it didn't fit with the propaganda narrative and the propagandists won... short term. The drug companies did not want a simple, cheap solution. They fought against Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. They wanted to make a lot of money. Remdesivir was finally pushed in hospitals, but little did we the innocent public know that it had potentially serious side effects. People died in the hospital. Our government gave extra money to COVID cases, so there was no real incentive to cure the illness. If an elderly person died of pneumonia, often the diagnosis would be that they died of COVID. For those of us with elderly loved ones in nursing homes, we were not allowed to visit our loved ones when they got ill. It was quite the propaganda treatment we were getting. Anyway, we could go on. But you get the point - rational thought was often thrown out the window as our "betters" lectured us about our civil duty to get an untested injection. Yeah, how about that! Untested! The mRNA solution was no solution at all. Now the chickens are coming home to roost - many people died or had severe complications. A few honest coroners started to publish their results of huge blood clots in patients who died, having received the jab. The inventor of mRNA technology came out and told us not to get the shot, because he believed it was toxic. He was right. We could go on and on. This is just one example of recent propaganda that cost lives. Another area of propaganda has to do with the supposed danger of carbon dioxide. You know, the gas of life. Yes, that one. Billions of dollars have been spent and all the while turns out it is a big scam. More propaganda. Today we talk with a pastor from West Virginia. He used to live in the Hudson Valley and that is when our paths crossed. Many years ago now. He delves into this area of propaganda. Back in September 26, 2024, Hurricane Helene swept over Western North Carolina, bringing record levels of rainfall that overwhelmed the area�s rivers and dams. Helene�s effects were felt deeply inland, from Asheville to smaller mountain communities across Appalachia. Rainfall totals reached 12 to 16 inches in some areas. This quickly became one of the most severe floods in the state�s history. Our guests today, say there was 30" of rain in 24 hours. Terrible mudslides, houses ripped from their foundations. Today, we speak with a missionary about what is going on in the war in the Congo, and developments in the South African missions group Frontline Fellowship. They have just completed a Biblical worldview summit and a Great Commission course. You may think that there is nothing happening in the world that is of interest to us. Why pay any attention to countries like the Congo? But did you know that failed policies that are pushed by our own people here in America, often have an adverse affect on other people in the world? We have had leaders who pushed to acquire the minerals of other nations and we are guilty of using bombs and war to accomplish such things. This week, we interview the pastor who wrote this: "I suggest there is a major problem with the modern, American man. On the one hand, some men have become increasingly more effeminate, while on the other hand some have become more toxic. From the early chapters of Genesis, Yahweh Elohim makes clear His vision for man living in His world. He is made in God�s image. He is to subdue the earth and rule over it. He is to be fruitful with his wife and multiply his seed to one hundred generations (Gen.1:26-28). This means there are at least four major characteristics for man. He is to be a propagator, deliverer, provider, and conqueror and these all flow from how God created man with strong desires for sex, work, and competition." His article then covers the time subject of effeminate men: "Let�s take the issue of effeminate men. As propagator, deliverer, provider, and conqueror Adam was to lead his wife Eve because he was first created. She was deceived by the serpent and Adam should have protected Eve and delivered her from her folly (1 Tim.2:13,14). He refused to do so and they both ate of the forbidden fruit. God put the blame on Adam. He should have known better. He willfully sinned against God and against Eve by failing to do his job as a man. The consequences have been catastrophic, plunging the whole world into sin, misery, and death (Gen.3:1-19, Rom.5:12, 1 Cor.15:21,22). We see in the failure of Adam the clear tendency for all men to acquiesce, to neglect their responsibilities as propagator, deliverer, provider, and conqueror."

We are in a period of fast change in America right now. Early on, in America, roughly 90% of people in our people were of a Reformed perspective. That is, Calvinistic in perspective. Presbyterians, Episcopal, Baptist, Congregationalist and even Methodists, early on. Our founders understood that raw power can destroy. Power has become unhinged at this time in America. We are hoping and praying that power will be wielded in the right direction going forward.
