When the resurrected Jesus confronts us, we are transformed.

The Holy Spirit's mission is to bring us to Jesus.

Jesus is a better story, offers us a better community, and gives us a better way to live.

Nobody wants to be ruled by fear, and this story teaches us how we can have something within us worth dying for. And it’s that something, that Someone, that allows us to live a full life.

We thrive under good leaders and good leadership structures, we die under bad leaders and bad structures.

We are prisoners of our own circumstances: if things are going well, we're doing well. If things aren't, we aren't. We need a joy that runs deeper than when good things happen. We need a joy that can withstand the worst of circumstances.

We are not guaranteed comfort in this life, but we are guaranteed suffering.

King Jesus has come to give us joy in suffering.

All the parts that we whihold from God will die. Jesus has come to breathe new life and make us whole.

Being filled with ourselves leaves us to an insubstantial life. Being filled with the Spirit gives us a life of substance.

We are born broken and we break things. Jesus rescues us from this in our weakness and restores us to a life of wonder.
