In our final week in Genesis, Tanner reminds us that the Bible is not a lot of disjointed stories, but it is one story about Jesus. Genesis ends not with the fulfillment of all of God's promises, but with waiting and hope. Today we also await the ultimate fulfillment of Christ's return with hope.

As we continue in Joseph's life, we see a man who was deeply sinned against yet remained convinced of God's faithfulness. Joseph's story reminds us that God uses brokenness, transforms sinners, works through hard circumstances, even in our deepest suffering.

This week, Pastor Tanner looks at the stories of Joseph and Judah, and we see a God who is at work despite our circumstances and who keeps His promises, not because of what we do, but because He is faithful.

As we continue in Genesis this week, Pastor Matt walks us through the beginning of chapter 35 where God blesses Jacob.

In this passage of Genesis, Jacob wrestles with God the night before meeting Esau. Through this, Jacob discovers that his greatest need is not deliverance from his current circumstances but a deeper dependence on the Lord. Pastor Tanner explains to us how God often uses seasons of struggle to transform our life. God's greatest gift is not an easier life, but it is His presence.

This week, we looked at Jacob's return to the Promised Land. Fearful of meeting Esau after 20 years, Jacob was reminded of God's presence, but he still wrestled with trusting God's promises instead of relying on his own strategies. Pastor Tanner challenged us to consider whether our lives reflect a growing dependence on Christ through prayer, the Word, and pursuing holiness, or whether spiritual passivity has dulled our affections for Him.

Pastor Matt continues in Genesis, where we see a broken family but a faithful God who keeps His promises. This week we see the lineage of Jacob through Leah and Rachel and what becomes the 12 tribes of Israel.

This week, guest pastor Ryan Owens from Redeemer San Angelo walks us through 2 Corinthians 10.

In this sermon, Pastor Tanner talks about Jacob's dream, and we see a gracious God who meets undeserving sinners. We also see in this passage that Jacob's faith becomes his own, and Tanner challenges us to really consider what we think about God.

This week, Pastor Tanner discusses how in this life we reap what we sow. We are challenged to consider if we are sowing Biblical and spiritual things or if we are sowing discord, disunity, and dishonor towards God.
