Pastor Tanner begins our summer in the Psalms series by walking through Psalm 77, a Psalm of Lament. One thing lament teaches us is that we are not alone. Even if we feel alone, God is there beckoning us to surrender to Him and confess our neediness.

In our last week in the Gospel of John, we see Peter, who has failed so many times, not only forgiven by Jesus but also commissioned by Jesus and used by Jesus to fulfill His mission to plant churches and take the Gospel to the end of the Earth.

In this text we see a resurrected Christ taking a vested interest in the nature and well being of his followers. Pastor Tanner discusses how Christ's power and care has not diminished and that God sees you, knows you, and loves you.

On Easter Sunday, Pastor Tanner discusses how the resurrection of Jesus changes everything.

This week, we arrive on our walk through John at the cross of Jesus. Through this text, we see that God and His word are worthy and to be trusted, and that Jesus is sufficient for salvation; there is nothing more we have to do.

As we approach Easter and the good news of the Resurrection, Tanner first walks us through the text where we see Jesus sentenced to die and see our sinless savior who willingly suffered for me and for you.

This week, we look together at Jesus and Pilate. Pilate, in his examination of Jesus, asks him, "What is truth?" This question is relevant to us today as we are faced with the crucifixion of Jesus, and we must answer if we believe what Jesus says about Himself is true.

This week, Pastor Tanner walks us through the text where we see Peter deny Jesus, and we are reminded of the grace and mercy of Jesus to wayward and undeserving sinners like us.
