Jesus takes three of his disciples up a mountain and reveals a glimpse of his pre-existent glory. But what does that mean for you and me?

As we celebrate our church’s one year anniversary, we wanted to take a look and remember God’s faithfulness to us. This is a standalone sermon from Deuteronomy and the nature of God… Hos faithfulness.

Jesus explains to his disciples what he came to do, which included suffering and dying. Peter had a different idea for the Messiah but Jesus clearly showed what it actually meant to follow Him… the cross.

Jesus is on a road trip with his disciples and he asks them two questions: 1) who do the people say I am? And the most important question anyone can answer, 2) Who do you say that I am?

Jesus takes two tries to heal a blind man, was it the man’s lack of faith or potentially something else? Ultimately, Jesus came so we could see clearly.

Jesus is challenged by the Pharisees and their hard, unbelieving hearts. The disciples aren’t too far behind them either, but in Jesus we have the only hope for overcoming a hard heart.

Again, Jesus gathers a crowd and again they’re far from home and hungry. Jesus not only cares for them, he provides for them and we are reminded that it is only in Jesus we find true satisfaction.

Jesus returns to the region of Galilee and upon his return, he is greeted by a man who is in desperate need of restoration.

Jesus and his disciples head to a gentile region and while they’re at dinner, an unlikely guest shows us what real faith looks like.

After Jesus confronts the religious leaders and their traditions, he reminds his disciples that what defiles a person isn’t anything that goes into our bodies, but what comes out of the heart.
