In Philippians 1:3-5 the Apostle Paul pours out his heart to God in thanksgiving for the church. Likewise, we are encouraged to cherish the church by praying, praising, and partnering for the purpose of knowing and making known the gospel. 

In Philippians 1:1-2 Paul opens his letter to this small church he previously planted in order to encourage God-glorifying rooted in their God-given identity as servants, saints, and siblings in Jesus Christ.

In the pilgrimage of this life, God is a refuge and hope for those who seek to worship Him. The guest preacher for this sermon was Troy Maragos.

In John 15:12-17 Jesus compels the church toward a vision of church as a spiritual family that gives sacrificially, gathers meaningfully, and goes missionally to bear abiding fruit. 

In John 15:7-11 Jesus calls his disciples to compel the church toward bearing godly fruit by abiding in his word, cherishing his love, and keeping his commandments. 

Jesus invites his followers to abide in him as the path to enjoying true joy and bearing godly fruit.

Enjoying Jesus enables us to be salty, bright, and beautifully proclaim the reality of God’s Kingdom even amidst a dark and bland spiritual society. 

Amidst the many foundations or hopes of life, Jesus proves to be the only unshakeable rock upon whom we find solid ground.

When Jesus is the treasure of our hearts we begin to produce fruit in our lives.
