Easter is unequivocally the high point of the church calendar as churches across the globe gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the grave. To prepare for Easter Sunday, for the next 4 weeks we will trace the movements of Jesus from the prediction of his death in Matthew 16 through his crucifixion in Matthew 27 culminating with his resurrection in Matthew 28. On the way to our celebration of the empty tomb on Easter Sunday morning, we will walk sections of the Via Dolorosa, which translated from Latin means "the way of grief".
This sermon is entitled Conforming to a Crucified King from Matthew 16.
