Jesus laid down His life for His Church and calls His followers to do the same. As such, we must follow Christ in laying down our lives for our brothers and sisters in Christ, whereby we most clearly demonstrate to the world that we are Christ’s disciples.

A local church must preserve the gospel of Jesus Christ from false teachers at all costs so that, through its teaching, sinners will be saved and believers will grow in true faith and godliness.
