Week 8 of Exodus Study

About This Study
“Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you.” —Exodus 18:10

With that introduction, we enter into the story of the Hebrew people in the book of Exodus. The exodus of the Israelites shapes our understanding of the whole Bible, its themes reverberating all the way to Revelation. Exodus is the birth narrative of a nation unmistakably guided by the Great Deliverer. 

Over an 11-week verse-by-verse study of Exodus 1–18, we will see that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God. We hope you will join us as we lift our eyes to our great Deliverer.

Week 10 of Hebrews Study

About This Study
In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, we will explore how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. 

This Spring, we will explore familiar verses in the context of the entire Bible, adventure through Old Testament stories to gain context for the superiority of Christ, and learn how to place our hope and faith in Christ alone. We hope you will join us as we behold the work of Christ and the beauty that awaits us within Hebrews.

Week 9 of Hebrews Study

About This Study
In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, we will explore how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40).
