God’s holiness and righteousness are the means of both our undoing and our salvation in Christ, which leads the people of God to a life of holiness.

Given that our exile is beset with difficulty, we must humbly and soberly live out salvation's pattern of suffering before glory.

Practical holiness in light of the coming end costs sober effort in prayer, love, and sanctified suffering.
