Shevon is a South Carolina Gamecocks ‪Alumni‬ and Track Standout, 2-time ‪Olympian, PUMA Ambassador , ‪Singer/ Songwriter & ‪‎Writer Hailing from Jamaica – a country renowned for its track and field prowess – Shevon Stoddart dedicates her life to the 400m hurdles, a discipline that requires a multitude of skills. "A 400m hurdler needs the strength of an 800m runner, the speed of a 400m runner and the technique of a 110m hurdler," says Stoddart. The 28-year-old represented her nation in the 2004 and 2008 Olympiads, and is now gearing up for Rio in 2016.She won the bronze medal at the 2005 Central American and Caribbean Championships and finished fifth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. At the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games she won a silver medal in 4x400 metres relay.She also competed at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2005 World Championships without reaching the final.Her personal best time is 54.47 seconds, achieved in June 2005 in Sacramento.She attended the University of South Carolina on a track scholarship.
