As a Christ Follower, you and I are called to go against the grain, to walk in the opposite direction of the World, and be ambassadors of the Gospel and advance the kingdom of God. Simply Put – we are meant to be weird in a God Way.

When Jesus came to show us a better way to live with God and with one another, He challenged us to do and live in a different, "other" way. The story of the Good Samaritan is what it looks like to go to "the other side."

For Jesus, loving our neighbors was on the same level as loving God himself. In fact Jesus says loving God and loving our neighbors is the greatest of all commands. That means if we are serious about following Jesus, we need to ask ourselves: “Am I a good neighbor?” For some of us, a better first question is “Do I even know my neighbors?”

The book of Malachi ends with God reminding us that one day everyone will stand before Jesus and give an account fir their life. For some it will be a great day, for some it will be the worst day. In the end it call comes down to putting your trust in Jesus and Lord and Savior.

If we love God, we will use money; if we love money, we will use God—to get more money. This sermon discusses the biblical grounds for tithing and how our finances reveal what we really love.

In Malachi, the people’s questions become increasingly frequent and soon turn into accusations against God’s goodness. God’s response? A promise to send a messenger, who will bring both cleansing and judgment.

What to leave a lasting legacy? Be faithful!

Before we understand God's word, we need to know God's heart. As we begin this new study on the book of Malachi, one of the very first things we learn about God is that He is a good Father who loves His children.

Communion is an opportunity to fix our eyes on Jesus, and have our perspective changed by the power of the living God.
