Elijah is walking through a “dark night of the soul” — exhausted, afraid, and unsure of what comes next. Yet it’s in that deep place of discouragement that God comes near, not with fire or earthquake, but with a gentle whisper. In the quiet, God meets Elijah with grace, restores his weary heart, and leads him back into purpose. This message invites us to slow down, listen for God’s tender voice, and trust that His whisper can guide us through our own darkest moments.

Right after God shows up in power on Mount Carmel, Elijah finds himself exhausted, afraid, and ready to give up. “When Fire Falls and You Hit the Wall” looks at the emotional letdown that can follow spiritual breakthrough — and reveals a God who doesn’t rebuke our exhaustion but restores us in it. When you feel done, God meets you under the broom tree with what your soul actually needs.

In a moment of national confusion and spiritual compromise, Elijah steps onto Mount Carmel with a question that cuts through every distraction: “How long will you go limping between two opinions?” Israel wanted the benefits of God while clinging to the idols of their culture — and Elijah makes it clear: neutrality is not an option. In this message, we confront the places where divided hearts keep us from fully following Jesus. God isn’t asking for part-time allegiance; He’s calling us to choose Him with clarity, courage, and conviction. When we finally pick a side, we begin to experience the freedom, fire, and faith that come from standing with the One true God.

When the land is dry and the darkness is deep, God doesn’t call Elijah to hide—He calls him to confront the very evil that caused the drought. In this message, we watch Elijah step out of obscurity and walk straight toward Ahab, not because he’s fearless, but because he’s faithful. This passage reminds us that there are moments when God calls His people to stand up, speak truth, and face what everyone else avoids. Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s obedience in the presence of it. And when God sends you into the fight, He goes with you.

When the widow’s world collapses and her son dies, Elijah shows us what real faith looks like when life falls apart. Faith doesn’t deny the pain—faith brings it to God. In the upper room, God meets the impossible with resurrection power. This message reminds us that when everything falls apart, God is still good and has the whole world in His hands. 

When God sends Elijah to a widow with nothing left, it makes no sense—until faith enters the scene. At the very moment she’s run out of options, God asks her to trust Him with what she doesn’t have to spare. And when she does, He proves that emptiness isn’t a dead end but an invitation for Him to fill what we can’t. “Running on Empty” challenges us to believe that God doesn’t need full jars to work miracles—He just needs our willingness to trust Him when we feel completely poured out.

In a time of evil kings and spiritual darkness, Elijah steps into the Biblical narrative with no introduction, family history, or fancy history - but full of the power of God. As we launch this new series, we look at Elijah’s surprising entrance into Scripture and are reminded that God often to uses the overlooked and the under-qualified to declare His Word and change the world. 

You won’t find rest by chasing it. Rest is the result of a real relationship with Jesus Christ. This Christmas, He invites the weary to come, take, and learn — and in Him, discover the deep, lasting rest your soul truly needs.

The arrival of Jesus is good news of great joy for all people. No matter who you are, no matter what you have done, no matter what people say about you, or how you even feel about yourself - Jesus came so that you might become a fully loved, fully accepted, fully forgiven, fully adopted child of God. 

The birth of Jesus is the joyful proclamation that God is with us, and is faithful to keep His promises. Mary is a living example of what it looks like to respond by faith when the Spirit of God moves. This week we will discover that Mary was marked by Faith, Surrender, and Worship.
