One of the most significant texts for the nation of Israel throughout their history is found in Deuteronomy 6. These words served as a daily prayer expressing the people's devotion to God. These words also instruct us in how to leave a legacy that lasts.

In the book of Numbers, the Lord sent spies into the land of Canaan to check out the land. For most of them, their report was dictated by fear. But for two, the response was one of faith. Will we walk in faith or in fear when our present circumstances seem impossible?

The Bible is a storybook with lots of amazing pictures. The Old Testament, and the book of Exodus in particular, is especially rich in pictures that point forward to Jesus. Today we consider five such pictures that help us grow in our love for the Lord and His Word.

Joseph's life is a case study in how to handle adversity while still trusting the Lord and keeping your character. As we conclude this series, we consider another piece of his life story in Genesis 39.

A constant theme of the people of God is trust. We saw it in the life of Abraham last week, and we see it in the life of Joseph this week. We can trust the sovereign plan of God even when things don't seem to make any sense.

If you follow God, your faith will be tested. How we respond shows how much we trust this One we believe to be sovereign. In Genesis 22, we witness and learn from the ultimate test of Abraham's faith in God's promises.

In the call to Abraham, God reveals that He is a promise keeper. Not only does he promise, but he provides.
