Life is full of disappointment. We cannot escape it because we live in a broken world full of broken people. Disappointment occurs in relationships, through unmet expectations, through desires and dreams put on hold, and in many other ways. Throughout the Psalms, we discover that in the midst of our struggle, God is not distant, He is not unaware, and He is not apathetic. The anthem of this series is that our hope can be fixed on God and his faithfulness!
