What is anxiety? It is an emotion caused by excessive worry, concern or fear of circumstances outside of our control.

It can be sinful when the worry and fear are not challenged and then overcome by faith in God and His Word. It’s a command to not do.Healing Anxiety with Theology and Prayer

• Knowing more about God and His Word will cause us to be more in step with the Spirit and find healing for our natural and sinful personhood.

3. Have Peace in the Sovereignty of God

Joy is both a command and an emotion. It comes from our gratefulness toward Jesus and His gospel. It should result in being gentle and forbearing.

Main Idea

We are reminded to continue joyfully in the faith, to strive diligently and sacrificially toward unity with the body of believers, and to remember the reason for the hope that defines us.

Stand firm when conflict arises and remember our common ground in Christ.

Main Idea

Living as if heaven is our eternal home requires following the examples of others who are either already there or long to be while avoiding the influence of those who aren't headed there.

Main Idea:

A Biblical analogy for living out the Christian faith is running in a race. To run it well, one must first be qualified by faith in Christ Alone.

After beginning the faith, we must leave behind the things that hold us back from a deeper relationship with God. We must have goals to become victorious in our efforts of sanctification. Finally, we can conclude that maturity lies in seeing faith in this manner.
