1) Proof of Obedience (v.22)
Obedience to Gods word is evidence of an authentic faith.
Paul says Salvation does not depend on works.
James says true salvation produces works.
James isn't talking so much about what you do but what you are.
2) The Peril of Apathy (v. 22-24)
The trap is we lied to ourselves and we believe it.
The goal of Gods word in the believer is transformation.
3) The Promise of Obedience (v. 25)
Jesus saves us from the curse of the law so that we can live in the blessing of the law.
In Christ we are free from sin and death.
