Have you ever felt a gap between the joy Jesus promises and the joy you’re actually experiencing? This was a tension Jesus’ disciples wrestled with as well. This week, we explore how Jesus invites us to trust him even when life doesn’t look or feel the way we expect.

How do we live for Jesus in a world that so often contradicts and attacks the way of Christ? For 2000 years, Christians have wrestled with this question. This week, we look at Jesus’ answer and guidance for where we can find help.

Friends are important. Probably more important than you realize. From the very beginning, God said it was not good for human beings to be alone. Join us as we study the amazing truth in these verses: Jesus calls us friends, and Jesus calls us to be friends to one another.

In these short verses, Jesus makes two of the most outlandish claims in the Bible, speaking about the incredible privilege we possess because of our relationship with him. This week, we unpack these often misunderstood blessings and their importance for our lives.

As 2026 begins, all of us are carrying hopes, plans, and uncertainties into the new year. As we return to John’s Gospel, we find the disciples in a similar place, and they're full of anxiety about what lies ahead. This Sunday, we’ll reflect on Jesus’ words to these anxious disciples and how what he says offers us a foundation for our lives that is steady, trustworthy, and full of hope.
